How to get the glow?

The natural way to radiant skin!

When you see someone (in real life, not via filters!) with a glowing complexion, it springs from much deeper within them. I’m not referring to the amazing highlighter guys! :) Skin that truly glows is cultivated from a vast array of physical and emotional processes inside you, including the nutrients you supply your body with as well as how lit up you feel about your life. Everything , even what you are focused on in this very moment, tends to be reflected on the outside and contributes (or not) to your sparkle. Here are some tips on how you can get that true radiant glow shining from deep within. 

  1. Change your pillowcases regularly

  2. If you wear makeup , remove it before bed

  3. Try an oil based product, rich in topical antioxidants, to moisturize and help protect your skin. Press it in with your fingertips rather than rubbing it. 

  4. Make water your main drink and be sure to drink enough each day to stay hydrated, your thirst is your guide. The dermis stores the water for your skin, keeping it hydrated and plump.

  5. The skin particularly loves vitamin C—found in citrus fruits like kiwifruit, capsicum and raw brassica veggies. You might like to add a food based supplement to boost your intake. 

  6. Quit sugar. In other others, omit processed foods and drinks and only eat whole, real foods, including, including plenty of plants. Test it for 4 weeks and notice how it enhances glow! 

  7. The skin loves it when your bowels and liver are working optimally, if you dont use your bowels daily, make this your number one priority and consider adding extra liver support via medicinal herbs such as globe artichoke, and turmeric. 

  8. On waking, place your hands on your heart and connect to the gift of life—what a blessing it is that you get another day!

  9. Don’t touch your face unless you’ve washed your hands 

  10. Eat plenty of antioxidant-rich plants. Picture a platter filled with foods of the colors of the rainbow. That platter packs a massive antioxidant punch! 

  11. Less stress more trust. 

  12. Let yourself have what you already have —the night sky, for example. Its what joy is all about, and joy allows us to see and experience even more beauty within ourselves and the world. 

  13. Consider taking an additional food-based antioxidant rich organic green powder, and / or supplemental essential fatty acids, particularly DHA

  14. Ask yourself : what lights me up? And work out how you bring more of that into your daily life.
